Hiking Conditions for SoCal Mountain Peaks
San Gorgonio Wilderness 7500-11500ft
Still some rpeorts of patchy snow on dollar lake saddle and a few other north facing slopes
above 8500 feet but no reports of anything that crosses the trails. There are reports of
several downed trees acoross the wilderness which will be taken care of by the Forest Service
in the next few months. Water is running good at south fork, dry lake is halfway full,
and dollar lake does have a little water. Mill creek and High creek are down to a trickly
if not dry by now. Bring plenty of water as things are pretty dry up there this summer.
Temps have been and look to stay pretty warm in the 70s with nighs in the upper 20s and 30s.

Mt. Baldy 7500-10300ft
Trail are clear of all ice and snow, and in descent condition. Be sure to carry lots
of water as there will be no real soruce on any of the trails into this area. Summer
has arrived early look for warm days.

San Jacinto 8600-10800ft
Trails are clear of snow on both the Idywilld side and tram side and in good condtion.
Things are dry and no real reliable sources of running water are being reported
so bring an obundance if heading up. Temps have been and will stay warm in the 70s
during the day and 30s at night. Monsoon season should be arriving in the next 30 days.
